This week, WREC held its Pre-Apprentice Orientation, a three-day training course designed to prepare new employees for success in the field. Journeymen led hands-on sessions covering safety rules, proper use of PPE, and techniques for working with underground and overhead lines.

The Pre-Apprentices also learned how to locate faults, maintain transformers, and operate essential equipment like digger derricks, bucket trucks, and excavators.
