WREC was proud to attend today’s ribbon cutting for Pirates Cove and celebrate the preservation of this beautiful waterfront property as part of Citrus County’s Parks and Recreation system.

Representing WREC at the event were Gary Steele, Manager of Member Relations, Jamen Monbarren, District Manager, Crew Chiefs Jimmy Underwood and Colton Barnes, and Board Member Robert Strickland. We were honored to stand alongside community leaders in support of this important preservation effort.

Protecting and enhancing the natural spaces that make our community special is something we deeply value. We’re honored to support efforts like this that ensure future generations can enjoy the beauty of Ozello and Crystal River for years to come.
